The first day of our tour starts with arrival in Cairo. Our professional guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. On our first day, we are visiting the Pyramids of Giza, one of the most famous structures in the world. You will see the Pyramids of Cheops, Kefren and Mykerinos up close and the enormous Great Sphinx. These ancient buildings are one of the most important symbols of Egypt. In the afternoon, we start visiting the Egyptian Museum. The museum displays Tutankhamun’s treasures, mummies and artifacts dating back thousands of years. You will have the opportunity to acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the history and culture of Egypt. You are spending the night at your hotel in Cairo.
On our second day, we are moving from Cairo to Alexandria. This coastal city has the most important ruins of Egypt from the Roman period. Our first stop is the Alexandria Library. This library, which attracts attention with its modern architecture, was built on the site of the old Alexandria Library and is one of the most important cultural centers in the world. Next, we will visit Pompey’s Pillar. This huge column, erected in memory of the Roman Emperor Diocletian, is one of the largest structures of ancient Alexandria. After our lunch, we will take a short walk to see the ruins of the Alexandria Lighthouse. After witnessing Egypt’s Roman-era heritage, we will spend the night in Cairo again.
On our third day, we are moving to Aswan. We are leaving early in the morning to go to the Abu Simbel Temple. The Abu Simbel Temple consists of two large temples built by Pharaoh Ramses II and is one of the most magnificent temples in Egypt. The huge sculptures and interiors of the temples are quite impressive. In the afternoon, we visit the Aswan Dam. The Aswan Dam is an important structure built on the Nile River and meets Egypt’s energy needs. We are spending the night in Aswan and you have the opportunity to rest.
Our fourth day starts with the transfer to Luxor. Luxor is one of the ancient capitals of Egypt and contains a number of historical buildings. First, we go to the Karnak Temple. Karnak is one of the largest religious buildings in the world and reveals the beliefs, power and glory of ancient Egypt. Afterwards, we visit the Valley of the Kings. Here, we will have the opportunity to visit the tombs of the famous pharaohs of ancient Egypt. We will also visit Tutankhamun‘s Tomb and learn about the ancient tomb structures. We will return to your hotel to relax in Luxor in the evening.
On the last day of our tour, we are going to Hurghada and taking a boat tour on the Nile River. Hurghada is one of the beautiful Mediterranean coastal cities of Egypt and we will spend a relaxing day here. During a boat tour on the Nile River, you will be able to watch the ancient ruins of Egypt from the side of the river. Also, you will have plenty of time to explore the local Sundays here, drink traditional Egyptian tea and take a walk along the beach. In the afternoon, we are returning to Cairo from Hurghada. You can be transferred to Cairo Airport in the evening and be ready for your return flight.
