With your arrival in Istanbul, the first day of our tour begins. After we are met at the airport and transferred to your hotel, we start exploring historic Istanbul. Istanbul is one of the most fascinating cities in the world with its historical and cultural riches, located on both the Asian and European continents. First of all, we are visiting Hagia Sophia. Byzantine Emperor I. Hagia Sophia, built by Justinian in 537, has been used both as a mosque and as a church, and today it serves as a museum. It is one of the most important buildings of Istanbul with its legendary dome, mosaics and impressive architecture. Then, we move on to the Topkapi Palace. The center of government of the Ottoman Empire for 400 years, this palace is famous for its elegant courtyards, magnificent rooms and historical monuments. We will explore important sections inside the palace such as the Harem, the Palace Museum and the Suleymaniye Library. We are spending the night at the hotel in Istanbul and we will drop you off for free time in the evening.
We are departing from Istanbul to Cappadocia in the early hours. Cappadocia is famous for its unique fairy chimneys, historical rock settlements and underground cities. First of all, we are visiting the Goreme Open Air Museum. This place offers an impressive historical area with its churches, frescoes and monasteries carved into the rock belonging to the Byzantine period. Then we will go to Uçhisar Castle. Uçhisar is one of the highest points of the Cappadocia region and you will have the opportunity to watch the magnificent view of the region from the castle. Finally, we go to the Zelve Valley and take a walk through the fascinating structures of fairy chimneys. The balloon tour, which has become the symbol of Cappadocia, is offered as an option. We are spending the night in Cappadocia.
Today, we are visiting the Ancient City of Ephesus. Ephesus is one of the most important and best preserved cities of the ancient world. We will witness history with magnificent buildings such as the Library of Celsus, the Great Theater and the Temple of Artemis. After our trip in Ephesus, we are going to Pamukkale. Pamukkale is famous for its white travertine terraces and hot water springs. To see this natural wonder, you will take a walk on the famous white limestone of Pamukkale and photograph the impressive landscape. We will also visit the ancient city of Hierapolis. In this city, there are ancient ruins and sacred sites. We are spending the night in Pamukkale.
On the last day of our tour, we are moving to Antalya. Antalya is one of the most beautiful cities of the Mediterranean and is famous for its historical and natural riches. We will take a walk in Kaleiçi, one of the most famous historical areas of Antalya, and visit important structures such as Hadrian’s Gate and Fluted Minaret. Next, we are going to see the Duden Waterfall. By taking a walk intertwined with nature here, we will witness the impressive view of the waterfall. Finally, we will make your last purchases in Antalya city center and end our tour. You can be transferred to Antalya Airport in the evening and prepare for your flight.
